Run the reel tether line through a bottom scupper hole, then if you loose the rod , the pull will be downward!!!!! This will add downward ballast rather than flip. Line up at right angles to the wave so you're bow into it and nudge over the crest slowly. As you do, trim the engine out to get the bow up before it stuffs into the water as you drop off the back of the wave. You'll need to work the throttle all the time. Or don't go out in that in the first place! Best way would be to turn around head for the shore. know your limits pal Well this time it failed, try again tomorrow ??
